I went to my doctor today. He delivered my first borne. I had a decided spring in my step as I left through the somewhat dark doorway from the newest office in a series of places I have visited for some 27 years. Kids audibly haruumped when they saw me coming into the driveway to pick them up. They had stayed with a fellow teacher friend who they just barely know but adore. I do hope she is the fourth grade teacher of one of mine next year.
Today was very close to perfect. Only thing I can regret is that Niko got voted home on American Idol, I like him. I even managed, I THINK to discontinue the AT&T service that I have been paying for for two years. Kids made dinner for me. Dog did not chew up anything valuable.
