Oh to be this colorful and vibrant. Last burst before turning to dust. Making seeds is very hard work. Or do tulips just make food for the bulb?

Making food for the bulbs here is hard work. They all want something different to eat. Made a sad and soggy meatloaf tonight in memory of mom who in my memory made meatloaf every Thursday or so.

Mom danced like this flower.

tired old thing stuck shut today and quit opening and closing. Someday we will all do this, I suppose but don't want to consider.

Caused me much angst today. Mechanical things are so hard.

January Tulips

Poor plant. Being forced to bloom before it is light and warm. Still you are so pretty. Despite being a night owl, I've always had a deadly attraction for early bloomers and birds.

$3.99 at the neighborhood grocery chain store for the light deprived.

You are so beautiful to me.

Might as well be light from a Jedi saber. No other existing ambient light for weeks here. Miserable time of the year. How the hell did the Native Americans come out of the domicile in the dark morning?

Hunger most likely was the reason.

The Jedi in our family spent his money on a much better and improved Saber today. Everyone should have one to vanquish their enemies and irritants.

He begged me to take a picture, wanted it to be purple but I resisted the Photoshop urge, this one just came out like this naturally.

NEED some natural light bad and soon.
