Neighbor kid showed everyone this poor butterfly in a bucket. Purpose of the showing was their friends who were members of a theatrical troupe who had SWORDS and SABERS. Now second son is pestering intensely for an expensive saber of his own.
Troupe member mentioned Robin Hood and LittleJohn as well as D'artagnan and the Musketeers. Son only knows the Hollywood version with Star Wars and Ninja Turtles. Maybe literature is an answer?
