of my kids. Spent most of today visiting. Glorious weather, can it last?

Camera focus has given me fits lately. Can't believe that June is almost over, again.

june 21 sun
Summer solstice today. Early rain started our day, but the sun prevailed. I even got a nap and a two mile walk with Ollie. So many gorgeous days here lately. Life is good but expensive.

june 19 cat
In the window, she loves this semblance of outdoors. She's only ventured out onto the deck once and came running back into safety after the dog saw her.

june 17 short
I was always short. Probably still am. Can't reach things on the high shelves nor fit in with the more cool taller people. Learn how to climb at the grocery store. Can't see over the steering wheel.
I suppose there are many worse things.

june 16 ick
What a face. Both hers and mine that I am hiding. So tired and worn out from schools end. Worried about the dog that I have neglected with heartworm medicine and let a bill deadline pass by. Ick seems appropriate tonight. My favorite time of year is not starting out in the right fashion.
Must be going to get better.

june 8 neighbor's tree
came down bouncing very quickly today. Storm came so fast it scared me. And I never get scared of these things. I went outside to get a picture of the tree bouncing in the wind and the neighbor screamed at me to get back inside.
I did. But came out later and took pictures. We are so saturated here that I was able to dig in the hard ground of my neglected garden and actually loosen some quack grass. More storms are coming as I get ready for bed.
